Everything you need to know about the process

You’ve probably made the decision to take a concrete step towards ear surgery that has been on your mind for a while. However, this entire process is filled with unknowns for you. We’ve prepared this page to prepare you for the surgical process, answer your questions, and inform you about details that may not have crossed your mind. We have divided the page into four sections: initial examination, pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery. In each section, you can find information about the situations you may encounter in all of these stages.

Appointment

The initial examination, which is the first step in this matter, is crucial in our opinion.

That’s why we emphasize that the examination should be done in person and before the surgery.

However, when conditions are not favorable, remote examination and surgery on the same day may be considered.

Before the Surgery

You’ve made the decision for your surgery, scheduled your appointment, and now you’re eagerly anticipating the day of your procedure.

What precautions should you take before surgery? You can find the necessary information by clicking on the following link.

Day of Surgery

If your surgery is scheduled under local anesthesia, please ensure you have a light breakfast in the morning and arrive at the clinic at the specified time.

If your surgery is scheduled under general anesthesia, you will receive specific instructions regarding the duration of fasting and the location and time of your hospital admission.

After the Surgery

After your surgery, you have returned to your home or hotel.

What should you be mindful of from this point onward? What potential situations might you encounter?

How much rest should you get? When is it safe to have a shower?

How should you perform wound site care?
